Data deletion
StackSignal by Compound 30™ · not affiliated with Substack · Last updated 7 October 2026
You can delete your StackSignal account and the data we hold about you at any time. Pick whichever route suits you.
1. Delete it yourself (immediate)
- Sign in to StackSignal.
- Open Settings → Account.
- Choose Delete my account and data, then type DELETE to confirm.
Everything below is removed straight away and your plan is cancelled at once, with no refund for the rest of the period.
2. Ask us by email (within 30 days)
Email hello@compound30.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my StackSignal data”. We'll confirm by reply, delete everything within 30 days, and tell you when it's done. If we can't delete something, we'll tell you why.
What gets deleted
- Your email, sign-in method, sign-in codes, sessions and sign-in history
- Your handles and competitor list
- Stats you entered, screenshots you attached and subscriber-file summaries
- Your weekly goals and settings
- Any connected Instagram, LinkedIn or Stripe access tokens and the data fetched through them
- Your place on our customer mailing list
We keep only the billing records the law requires. They are not linked to your handles or stats.
Disconnect an account without deleting StackSignal
- Instagram: in Instagram, go to Settings → Apps and websites and remove StackSignal, or disconnect in StackSignal Settings.
- LinkedIn: Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Permitted services, then remove StackSignal.
- Stripe: remove StackSignal from the connected apps in your Stripe Dashboard.
Disconnecting stops our access immediately and we delete the token and the data fetched through it within 30 days.
If you don't have an account
StackSignal shows public information about public handles that members choose to follow. If you'd like a handle's data removed from StackSignal, email hello@compound30.com with the handle and we'll remove it and stop refreshing it.
More detail is in our Privacy page.
