StackSignal by Compound 30™ · not affiliated with Substack · Last updated 7 October 2026
The short version
StackSignal by Compound 30™ is an independent analytics dashboard for Substack, LinkedIn and Instagram creators. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Substack Inc., LinkedIn or Instagram (Meta).
Who we are
StackSignal is operated by A Roll Media (FZE), United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@compound30.com.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or over and using StackSignal for your own writing or business.
StackSignal is for subscribers of the Compound 30 Substack. When you choose a plan, you agree to join it (free tier) if you aren't already a subscriber; we'll do it for you or take you there in one tap. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter on Substack at any time; StackSignal access is tied to your paid StackSignal plan.
Plans and billing
- $5 a month or $50 a year, billed in US dollars by Stripe. No free trial.
- Plans renew automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel any time from Settings → Account → Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Discount codes, where offered, apply as stated on the code.
- Payments aren't refundable for a period that has already started, except where the law says otherwise.
- If you're ever charged in error, email hello@compound30.com and we'll put it right.
Your data and the data we show
StackSignal shows publicly available data from Substack, LinkedIn and Instagram, plus any numbers you choose to enter from your own stats. Only enter data you have the right to use. Competitor data is public counts and public posts only. See the Privacy page for detail.
Connected accounts and platform data
You may be able to connect your own Instagram, LinkedIn or Stripe account. Only connect accounts you own or are authorised to manage, and only approve what you're comfortable sharing on the platform's own screen. You must keep following each platform's own terms and policies (for example Meta's Platform Terms and LinkedIn's API terms) while you use StackSignal with them. Data fetched from a connected account is shown only to you and used only to run your dashboard, as set out in our Privacy page. You can disconnect at any time, and if a platform withdraws or limits access we may have to switch that connection off.
Your account
You sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox or Google account secure: anyone who can open it can sign in as you.
Fair use
Don't try to break, scrape or overload the service, share your login, resell or republish other people's data from it, or use it to harass anyone. Don't use StackSignal to collect, store or profile individuals, or for anything unlawful. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms, and we'll tell you why where we can.
Your content and what we own
What you add or connect stays yours. You give us permission to process it only to run StackSignal for you. StackSignal itself, its design, scores and wording belong to A Roll Media (FZE) and Compound 30™, and you get a personal, non-transferable right to use it while your plan is active.
No guarantees
Numbers come from public sources and what you enter and may be delayed, incomplete or change without notice. StackSignal is provided as is, without warranties, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Cancelling and deleting your account
Cancel your plan any time in Settings and keep access to the end of the period you've paid for. To delete your account and data, use Settings → Account → Delete my account and data (immediate, and it cancels billing straight away), or email us and we'll do it within 30 days. See Data deletion and Privacy.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. This doesn't take away any consumer rights you have where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
